Abstract

The investment climate is a key determinant of economic development, influencing the flow of domestic and foreign investments and the efficiency of capital allocation. This study examines the investment climate of Uzbekistan through a macroeconomic analysis of stock market development and an assessment of the financing characteristics of mining organizations. The research investigates the impact of major macroeconomic indicators, including GDP growth, inflation, interest rates, exchange rate stability, and foreign direct investment, on stock market performance and investment attractiveness. Special attention is devoted to the financing structure of mining enterprises, which operate in a capital-intensive environment requiring substantial long-term investments. The findings indicate that macroeconomic stability, financial market development, and increased foreign investment significantly contribute to improving financing opportunities for mining organizations and strengthening overall investment attractiveness. The study highlights the importance of diversified financing mechanisms and continued economic reforms in supporting sustainable industrial and financial development in Uzbekistan.
