Abstract

This article highlights modern methods of teaching foreign languages in secondary  schools and their importance in today’s world. In the era of globalization, learning foreign languages plays a significant role not only in developing students' linguistic skills but also in enhancing their communication abilities and fostering intercultural connections. The article explores approaches such as communicative teaching, task-based learning, interactive methods, the use of information technologies, and language games. Challenges encountered during the application of these methods and strategies to overcome them are also discussed. These approaches have been proven effective in motivating students to learn foreign languages and improving their proficiency levels.
