THE SIGNIFICANCE OF TORCH INFECTION IN OSTEOMYELITIS IN YOUNG CHILDREN
Keywords:
osteomyelitis, young children, TORCH infections, children's bone infection, clinical results.Abstract
osteomyelitis is a serious bone infection that can cause serious illness in young children. Although bacterial pathogens are the most common causative agents, the role of viral infections, particularly those classified under the TORCH complex (Toxoplasmosis, Other, Rubella, Cytomegalovirus, and Herpes Simplex Virus), is increasing. Understanding the significance of TORCH infections in osteomyelitis may help to understand atypical presentations and aid clinical management.
