The article illustrates some data about Figurative meaning of verbs regarding to the Uzbek and English newspapers. Moreover, it demonstrates figurative meaning of nouns, adjectives and other speech patterns as well as shows the usage of figurative meaning creating metaphor, metonymy and allegory.
