THE MULTIFACETED IMPACT OF TOURISM: BALANCING ECONOMY, ENVIRONMENT AND CULTURE
Keywords:
tourism, economic impact, cultural interaction, environmental sustainability, sustainable developmentAbstract
tourism, as an integral part of global culture and economy, contributes immensely to economic development, cultural exchange, and social transformation, this study presents a detailed analysis of tourism's impact by focusing on economic, environmental, and cultural dimensions. Employing a mixed-methods approach that combines surveys, interviews, and statistical data reviews, the research highlights tourism's dual role—its vast potential for stimulating growth and its inherent challenges, particularly environmental sustainability and cultural preservation. Recommendations for sustainable tourism practices are proposed to align economic benefits with ecological and cultural responsibilities.
