Abstract

This article discusses the importance of extracurricular reading activities for primary school students, its role in the educational process, and its role in forming a reading culture in children. It also discusses effective methods of organizing extracurricular reading, the role of the teacher, and its impact on the formation of independent thinking, imagination, and aesthetic taste in students.
