EFFECTIVE METHODS FOR ELIMINATING PUNCTUATION ERRORS IN THE WRITTEN SPEECH OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

This article examines effective methods for overcoming punctuation errors in the written speech of primary school students. The development of punctuation literacy at an early stage of education plays a key role in shaping communicative competence, logical thinking, and language culture. The paper highlights the main causes of punctuation mistakes in young learners’ writing and offers pedagogical strategies to minimize them. Special attention is given to interactive teaching methods, differentiated exercises, visual aids, and game-based approaches that contribute to developing accuracy in punctuation usage. The findings emphasize that consistent practice, teacher feedback, and modern digital tools can significantly reduce punctuation mistakes, thereby improving the quality of written communication among primary school students.
