PEDAGOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR DEVELOPING INDEPENDENT THINKING SKILLS AMONG PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of developing independent thinking skills among primary school students. It defines the essence of independent thinking, analyzes the teacher’s role in its formation, and discusses methods and tools applied during the teaching process. The study highlights the significance of modern educational technologies in fostering cognitive activity, creativity, and analytical reasoning. It also explores the psychological and pedagogical principles of nurturing learners’ self-expression and reflective thought. The findings present scientific and practical recommendations for forming an active, independent, and socially responsible learner within the framework of modern primary education.
