Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of Jack London’s novel “Martin Eden”, which is a deep study of human nature and social differences. The plot centers on the story of a young sailor, Martin Eden, who strives to become a writer and achieve social recognition. The article examines the key philosophical and social aspects of the work, including the conflict between individual aspirations and social norms, as well as the internal crisis of the hero. Particular attention is paid to the character development and cultural significance of the novel, which remains relevant in the context of contemporary social and economic realities.
